Gamification is when game like elements like point systems and badges are implemented into nongame contexts to get engagement and motivation. The paper talks about “fun” and gives a deeper meaning of it in terms of gamification. In my opinion I didn’t enjoy reading the paper "Gamification design: what's fun got to do with it" , it did give some good insights of fun when making a game, like how it is the desired outcome of a game and not necessarily a building block. I personally think it could have had some interesting information in it.
